Today, I’m excited to share this book, 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦 which is beautifully written by @srmilesauthor! Thank you to @simonteen for the gifted copy and @turnthepagetours for having me as part of the 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦 Book Tour!
As a reader, I couldn’t help getting lost between these pages. My heart ached every time they reappeared in time falling in love with each every time yet their relationship was doomed. Each era they visited in presented its own challenges. I was struck by the abuse from one’s own parent that really hurt (trigger warning).
Each iteration of the characters was from a fresh sense and it told the reader how the relationship worked or didn’t. Whether as a slave or soldier, one suffering from Covid-19 or memory loss, these characters Tamar and Fanyard endured challenges. The book was a solid read for me. I enjoyed the fantasy aspects and the prospect of redoing a relationship gone bad.
I can’t wait to read what is next from Ms. Miles.
